Facebook social network channels
A number of Wikimedia communities have robust communication via Facebook pages and groups.
Certain Wikimedia projects have policies restricting linking to Facebook.[1]
Past proposals to add "like" buttons or "share" widgets on pages have been rejected on English Wikipedia due to concerns over neutrality and design,[2] but they are used on some other projects.[3]
There was a proposal to add Facebook-login as an optional login-method, which was rejected.Cite error: Closing </ref> missing for <ref> tag
The Wikimedia Foundation has begun work to allow donations through Facebook.[4]
