:Yes, the band name is pronounced "Government Mule" even though it is spelled "Gov't Mule." Most of their fans simply call them "Mule" or "The Mule," however. KitHutch 21:49, 19 July 2005 (UTC)

* Dave Schools is a major contributor to the group because he convinced the band NOT to break up in 2000. Schools convinced them to tour as the New School of Gov't Mule in 2001.

* Can we get a more comprehensive list of Mule links other than the official sites and one "my way or the highway" yahoo group? There's plenty more out there that someone might think is interesting or relatable.

Proposal on categorizing "Taper-friendly bands"
Hi, I've created a proposal for categorizing "taper-friendly bands", aka "bands that allow taping" within Wikipedia, and I wanted to invite people interested in this article to offer comments and feedback, since the Mule are one of the most prominent bands in the category. The proposal is at User:Xtifr/BTAT, and I'd be very interested to hear what people have to say about my suggestions. Let me know whatcha think. Thanks, Xtifr 11:12, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
