|Intro = <!-- [required question] Why are you running for the Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees? What would you contribute? What would you like to learn more about? --> Since 2016, I have been invested in what became the ten 2030 Movement Strategy Recommendations and 47 Movement Initiatives. I am running for a second term on the WMF Board of Trustees as I believe that serving on the Board is the best way for me to ensure that these recommendations and initiatives receive strategic support. I have broad experience in the Wikimedia movement; this hasn't slowed down since joining the WMF Board in 2021. These community inroads are important for keeping a pulse on community points of view. I have been and if re-elected, will continue to be committed to being an active Trustee.

As some of you know, I wear a bracelet with this inscribed on it: WWHSD? It stands for: What Would Hari Seldon Do? Hari was a fictional character in Isaac Asimov's ''The Foundation'' series. His research with large data sets enabled him to predict the future and minimize a period of doom for humanity. I wear it to keep me focused on the far future of our Wikimedia movement: 5-10 years, sure, but 50-100 years, also. For that reason, I believe the WMF should prioritize the following areas.

Why? It's what the world needs from us. It's what consumers (readers, etc.), editors, contributors, partners, and donors want from us. Let us not be complacent.

Why are you running for the Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees? What would you contribute? What would you like to learn more about? Since 2016, I have been invested in what became the ten 2030 Movement Strategy Recommendations and 47 Movement Initiatives. I have been and if re-elected will continue to be, committed to being an active Trustee.

From your perspective, what should the Wikimedia Foundation be prioritizing over the next 5-10 years, and why do you see these as the most important priorities? As some of you know, I wear a bracelet with this inscribed on it: WWHSD? It stands for: What Would Hari Seldon Do? Hari was a fictional character in Isaac Asimov's The Foundation series. His research with large data sets enabled him to predict the future and minimize a period of doom for humanity. I wear it to keep me focused on the far future of our Wikimedia movement: 5-10 years, sure, but 50-100 years, also. For that reason, I believe the WMF should prioritize the following areas.
  1. Innovate in Free Knowledge
  2. Increase the Sustainability of Our Movement
  3. Evaluate, Iterate, and Adapt

Why? It's what the world needs from us. It's what consumers (readers, etc.), editors, contributors, partners, and donors want from us.

Please describe your professional career experience. My professional career was in the healthcare industry. It started after high school graduation, as a clerk in a neighborhood hospital's Radiology Department. Starting in 1990, when my youngest child was in kindergarten, I worked for a large company that provided contract healthcare services to military hospitals and healthcare facilities in the U.S., my role being administrator and manager of multi-million USD contracts. In 2001, role shifted to talent acquisition (recruitment) of medical staff (physicians, nurses, ancillary services) for these facilities, for which I hired thousands of contractors. In 2009, my role shifted to recruiting for civilian hospitals and healthcare facilities, as well as leading a team of recruiters; the positions recruited for included C-suite. During these years, I was an active member of PMI SHRM, and ERE. In 2016, after 26 years with the organization, I retired.

In 2017, I became a Wikipedia Visiting Scholar at Northeastern University (Boston), Digital Scholarship Group (unpaid position).
