It is an acknowledged fact that an ecosystem comprises closely woven web of plant and animal (including humans) life within a particular type of physical environment and these are the factors that influences human activities.

Using Nigeria as a case study, it is observed that Nigeria spans different climatic and ecological zones and as such occupies a unique geographic position in Africa. Her diversity in natural ecosystems ranges from semi-arid savanna to mountain forests, rich seasonal floodplain environments, rain forests, vast freshwater swamp forests and diverse coastal vegetation, yet her subjects and even tertiary institution students know little or nothing about it and how it affects our lives - negatively or positively.

This project will take into cognizance of training and enlightening these tertiary Institution students the effects of the climatic factors in our lives and also, ways through which they can contribute in curbing the degradation of our environment and climate.

This project will also include a translation of climate-related contents on the [[:ig:Ihu_mbụ|[https://ig.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ihu_mb%E1%BB%A5]]] page.

This project will also focus on improving Nigerian contents on climate topics on the [[:en:Main_Page|[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page]]] page as it is observed that some of these contents haven't been updated with the current state of climatic factors in Nigeria.
