Wait. Is that identical to Ctenolepisma longicaudata, which is also called "silverfish"? If the species is too obscure to have an exclusive common name, we must have scientific name as the page name, to avoid ambiguity amongst similar spieces which will cause interwiki jam. No, they are different animals. Common name means nothing in biology, the only way to avoid confusion is scientific name. In german wikipedia this subject has this title. There seems to be a stark contrast between this article and the Easter Island article on the age of the statues (compare 1000 years ago with 4-300 years ago - also view the talk page). IMO it would be better to have that issue resolved or the different theories better explained before everyone starts translating it. I think it should be part of the article en:Danube, in the german (for example) you´ll find it at de:Donau#Biosphärenreservat_Donaudelta. -- Necrophorus 14:51, 5 Jan 2005 (UTC)
- There's always been this issue going on about whether we want less articles but which cover more information, or whether we want to have smaller, more specific articles. Personally, I favour smaller more specific articles which are linked from a "main" article such as Danube. Therefore, especially judging its importance, I think there should be a separate article on Danube Delta. They do the same things with countries - there are separate articles for Economy of xx, Demographics of xx, etc. Ronline 12:35, 10 Jan 2005 (UTC)

No, his 'ignorance' is an opposition. I am voting against this article for a few reasons. Number one, the votes seem to be stacked - so far only eo.wikipedians have voted for it. - If you are talking about the Ethnologue, the figure they use is based on number of people who use it on a daily basis and is from ca. 1990 (time is a guess). It is hard to explane... X"o"omej - /hoo-mey/, but oo is not uh: it is long o, like in Estonian. I'm not familiar with SAMPA or IPA, but I thik it shoud be /xœ:mej/.

Although I am a supporter of Tatarstan independence, as far as the English WP article states, Kasimov only has a small Tatar population and is not part of the Tatarstan Republic. Therefore, I think we should use Kasimov when translation (it's not that I wouldn't like to see Qasim used though, but we have to be NPOV)
