  • Personal info: my name is Al, I'm Brazilian and live in Rio de Janeiro. I've been active on Portuguese Wikipedia since 2006, with more than 2,000 articles created, and on Catalan Wikipedia since 2008, with more than 100 articles created. I was nominated for adminship in 2007, but I withdrew. My main concern is to create, translate and develop articles. Nevertheless, I have a strong interest in setting policies that can protect the community against disruptive editing and overreaching. So, I have presented a banning policy and an adminship revocation policy (mainly due to absenteeism and illegal use of sockpuppets), and both were approved and are in use (we don't have an ArbCom yet). I'm very worried about the increasing use of socks in Portuguese Wikipedia (a sysop was exposed this week there, a big shame), and, as a steward, my goal is to work with checkusering; as a retired programmer, I have a lot of time to do this job...

J'ai donc proposé une règle de bannissement et une règle de révocation des administrateurs (principalement pour absentéisme et usage illégal de faux-nez) et toutes les deux ont été approuvées et sont en application (nous n'avons pas encore de Comité d'arbitrage).
