It uses the MediaWiki software to compile an "encyclopedia of propaganda" with information about the funding, personnel and propaganda tactics used by public relations firms, corporations and governments. The editorial policy of the Disinfopedia is also slightly different than the policy of the Wikipedia. Whereas the Wikipedia strives for a "neutral point of view," the Disinfopedia strives for "fairness and accuracy," allowing for the possibility that articles may take a point of view, provided it is supported by solid evidence.
