This is a documentation subpage for Template:Translated tag.
It contains usage information, categories, and other content that is not part of the original template page.

Usage

This template is used on translated template messages, to avoid getting these on pages, that used template, and to lead to use the master template (NOT the translated one).

All categorization of translated tags is done through this template. It will add a general maintenance category based on the type of template it is. All templates lacking this will end up in Category:Translated templates needing categories If none of the available options match the template in question just leave it as {{translated tag}}.

Add one of the following as the first (unnamed) parameter:

marker
user

For example, you would change {{translated tag}} to {{translated tag|user}} for user templates.
