M5/looks useless

Hey there. With M5, are admins allowed to delete pages that were tagged by themselves for 60 days? I only ask, because this is not something that is mentioned in policy - I would prefer my own requests to be looked at by another admin before deleting. Is this something we would want to address in policy? Thanks, --Ferien (talk) 23:09, 2 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello @Ferien. I agree it'd be preferable not to delete pages we tagged as {{looks useless}} ourselves, mostly per Meta:Administrators § Involved administrators and because what is or is not useless is kind of subjective. These days I'm mostly nominating these kind of pages at Meta:Requests for deletion, which reduces the likelyhood of inadvertently deleting a page you tagged yourself. As for the policy change, I'd say not for now, unless admins are regularly M5 pages they themselves tagged. Best regards, —MarcoAurelio (talk) 12:31, 3 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
