Mordenkainen's disjunction

Mordenkainen's Disjunction is a powerful wizard/sorceror spell which attempts to strip all magic from an enemy. It can be cast on a group of enemies and attempt to remove the most powerful positive spell from them. It can be used to theoretically used to destroy an artifact by stripping it of all its magic and thus reducing it to a normal item. But that is not somethign which is generally thought of because for plot neccessity another means of destroying said artifact is provided.
