Cormac / Cormaggio

I'm Cormac Lawler: Cormaggio on various projects, Wikimedia and non-Wikimedia - but particularly Wikiversity, which is the subject of my PhD (see v:Developing Wikiversity through action research). Previously, I've been involved in researching Wikipedia as a learning community, specifically looking at interpersonal communication and conflict, which was the basis of my M.Ed. dissertation (available on my en:wp user page), and also my paper for Wikimania 2005.

As well as research, I'm also very interested in Wikimedia chapters, and I've worked on developing Wikimedia UK, and hope to continue to do so. I've also served on the Special projects committee since its beginning - though it has since petered out.
