Добро пожаловать на викимарафон, посвящённый статьям о культуре стран Латинской Америки, Ближнего Востока и Северной Африки!
Что?: Конкурс Мосты между культурами - это викимарафон, организованный совместно рядом аффилированных групп движения Викимедиа с целью стимулировать культурный обмен между регионами Латинской Америки с одной, и Ближнего Востока и Северной Африки с другой стороны. Первый месячник будет организован в октябре-ноябре 2017 года.
Когда?: Викимарафон проходит с 00:01 15 октября по 23:59 15 ноября 2017 г. (UTC).
How?: To participate, you first need to subscribe to the list of participants. Then, create or expand articles regarding Latin American culture in Arabic, Persian or Turkish Wikipedia or Middle Eastern and Northern African culture in Spanish or Portuguese Wikipedia. You can create any article from the list of countries in the following categories:
According to the level of improvement of the articles, you will receive points and the winner will be the participant with the most points at the end of the contest.
Who?: Any Wikimedia user signed in the list of participants before 23:59 November 15, 2017 (UTC).
Where?: For the 2017 edition, you can participate in Arabic, Persian, Portuguese, Spanish and Turkish Wikipedia.
In Arabic, Persian and Turkish Wikipedia, only articles related to Latin American countries will be considered for this contest.
In Spanish and Portuguese Wikipedia, only articles related to Middle Eastern and North African countries will be considered for this contest.
Why?: The goal of the contest is to promote cultural exchange between Latin America and the Middle East & North Africa regions. Although Wikipedia has been an unique opportunity to expand the access to knowledge from every corner of the world, there is still a difference in the quality of articles and a bias towards European and North American content. We expect this contest can help to promote South–South cooperation and increase the access to content with a global perspective.
