- That account is a sock of a WMF-banned user (w:en:WP:LTA/GRP). Occasionally, there's a tendency for old accounts to randomly be revived, hence my request. SHB2000 (talk | contribs) 01:38, 13 June 2023 (UTC)

Re: SRGP
While there is nothing in policy prohibiting "per X" and pile-on opposes, in a clearly failing global rollback request, it does nothing but discourage the candidate. Having two meaningless oppose comments is not going to help the candidate actually improve, it's just going to serve as a w:WP:BITE and serves absolutely no positive purpose. --Ferien (talk) 22:32, 22 June 2023 (UTC)
- Right, but isn't the purpose of SRGP to allow others to voice their opinion, which is what TenWhile6 and I did. No vote should be considered meaningless unless it's a plain-on vote with nothing but the template, which wasn't the case here. SHB2000 (talk | contribs) 06:28, 23 June 2023 (UTC)
- It is pretty meaningless as it is just referring to what people have already said. You are welcome to voice your opinion if you really see adding the same opinion that has already been stated two times to be so valuable, but otherwise it's just discouraging the candidate by adding more unnecessary oppose votes. --Ferien (talk) 11:07, 23 June 2023 (UTC)

- I really don't think it is in this instance. The outcome is clear, the vote is not going to change it. Yes you could say the same in a pile-on support case but this is different: unsuccessful requests can be discouraging as it is - it doesn't need to be extremely unsuccessful, it's just a new user who doesn't have as much experience.
