About me
Hi there,
I'm a French citizen with multicultural indentity. My rural uprising in a forested area –shared by only 3% of European citizens– taught me to values education, wild life, and people.
My appetite for foreign culture lead me to an exchange student year in Taiwan, where I learnt Chinese, English, and multilingualism. My 20s were spent in France, Taiwan and India to acquire multiple diploma in History, Chinese studies, and Computer Science.
I'm currently Wikimedian en résidence with expertise in open education, educational platform engineering, as well as a junior JavaScript developper with a keen interest in expanding vocabulary resources.
My work
As a Wikimedian since 2004, I've played a multifaceted role within the Wikimedia community. With a background in Chinese studies and e-learning, I've contributed extensively, both as an editor and a project coordinator. Notably, I initiated and led the Graphic Labs and Map workshops, resulting in the creation and improvement of over 15,000 images and maps, along with the establishment of Wikipedia Cartographic guidelines.
My involvement extended to projects like the CJK Stroke Order Project and the Ancient Chinese Characters Project, which collectively produced around 15,000 files. Additionally, I've been an instrumental part of Wikimedia France's LinguaLibre.org, a rapid audio recording system.
My contributions span various topics, with a strong focus on Chinese culture, contemporary social issues, and human rights. During the 2020 Covid Task Force, I played a lead role. I've held administrative positions on Wikipedia FR and Commons, and I've actively participated in real-life Wikimedia events, including Wikimania ('07,'13,'14,'17,'18,'19,'21,'22,'23), Hackathons, and Wikiconvention francophone.
