By deploying Simone - an autonomous software agent (a bot) developed based on community input MediaWiki Projects can pursue their strategic goals:

  • Article Quality improvement
    • Detecting the most problematic articles.
    • Advising new editors on improving article quality.
  • Engaging the Editor Community.
    • Enlarge the active editor pool by soliciting new user enrollment.
    • Retaining more users for longer terms.
    • Reduce technical and social learning curves.
