Milking the line

Community and local rules (a.k.a Tribal knowledge)

I've dipped into meta a few times but made my first edit only yesterday. My first preview was as I attempted to {{welcome}} myself to get a start on what's needing doing and how we do it here. Boo to red links. Any pointers as to how to make myself useful?

Uh, well. I would think of a thousand things to do, but they would require to know the topic enough to do so... what sort of a job do you like doing ? Translation ? Press stuff ? Organisation ? Clean up ? Creative content ? Software or hardware ? Anthere 08:15, 5 April 2006 (UTC)Reply
Organisation and Clean up are probably both good places to start. I'm also having a hard time capturing the zeitgeist. Are there were some important "get to know the place" pages I should read? - brenneman 00:36, 6 April 2006 (UTC)Reply
Focus more on organisation than clean up if you are new ;-) I would recommand having a look at the main page and looking the pages listed there. Some are horribly disorganised ;-) Anthere 10:26, 6 April 2006 (UTC)Reply
