Proposal summary
Language details: Limburgish (limburgs, lèmburgs, plat, li ISO-639 1)
This project was created on August 14 2007 and has recently recieved a new user. I think it has started to grow now and therefor I post this request. --OosWesThoesBes08:02, 13 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Arguments against
A project like this requires much more manpower than say a Wikipedia or a Wiktionary. The Dutch Wikinews already barely functions. This is something for the (very) distant future, only to be considered if Limburgish ever becomes a full-fledged cultivated languages, more so than Frisian is now. Recently an editor came, so why too ambitious? First wait a month or two and than rejudge. I know it's hard to keep a Wikinews alive, but I trust Limburgish and all Limburgish speakers. There just needs to be a little bit advertising I think. --OosWesThoesBes18:22, 14 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Discussion
You are working hard on the localisation of Limburgish.. but is it not a bit ambitious to want to start two new projects at the same time ? Thanks, GerardM19:45, 13 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
No. I'm currently working on a few projects. 2 Lozi projects, 1 Zealandic and 5 Limburgish projects. I know there are many people who speak Limburgish and are willing to learn how to write and are willing to contribute to one of my projects. The reason why I've posted this request was the first real contributor besides me, so I think this will become a good project. When I've finished the localisation I can work harder on the test-projects. --OosWesThoesBes06:07, 14 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
