SHB2000

Not ending before 10 May 2024 04:30 (UTC)

Hi, I'm nominating myself for adminship as I'm willing to help out in certain admin areas, such as vandalism, spam, speedy deletions and the like (specifically WM:RFH, CAT:CSD, WM:RFD). As of making this request, I'm a bureaucrat on the English Wikivoyage (home wiki) and a sysop on the English Wikibooks; while the core objectives of all three projects are very different, the core sysop functions should be no different. I'm prone to making mistakes (and will gladly accept so when I do), but I hope to learn more experience over time.

Activity disclaimer: I travel quite a bit (shouldn't be a surprise when my home wiki is the English Wikivoyage); I can go on weeks-long breaks, but I will usually put up a disclaimer on my userpage.

  • Support Support - very active and helpful user with a use for the tools. One minor nitpick: I've noticed a couple of times over the last few months where you've gotten overly involved in some drama - I'd recommend as an admin that you practice taking a step back and not engaging, particularly with the more disagreeable people that can be attracted to some global-facing discussions here. Will end up saving you a headache now and then :-) – Ajraddatz (talk) 05:07, 3 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, definitely learned that the hard way haha. --SHB2000 (talk | contribs) 09:55, 3 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Done, per unanimous support. --M/ (talk) 05:59, 10 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
