Version 1.4 uses the following tables:
*archive table - "deleted" pages
*blobs table
*brokenlinks table - links in internal link style to non-existing pages in the same project (see below)
*categorylinks table
*cur table - current pages
*hitcounter table
*image table
*imagelinks table tracks usage of images in wikipages (see below)
*interwiki table
*ipblocks table
*links table - links in internal link style to existing pages in the same project (see below)
*linkscc table - (see below)
*math table
*objectcache table
*old table - old versions of pages
*oldimage table
*querycache table
*recentchanges table
*searchindex table
*site_stats table
*testac table
*text table
*user table
*user_newtalk table
*watchlist table

Candidate statements
I regret you broke up links on Anthere's statement. At first you didn't need to replace it internal link to external in my opinion. I hope you don't bother nor candidates nor us anymore. Thanks. --Aphaia | Translate Election | ++ 17:41, 19 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Removing votes
Version 1.5 uses the following tables:
*archive table
*categorylinks table
*hitcounter table
*image table
*imagelinks table
*interwiki table
*ipblocks table
*logging table
*math table
*objectcache table
*oldimage table
*page table
*pagelinks table
*querycache table
*recentchanges table
*revision table
*searchindex table
*site_stats table
*text table
*trackbacks table
*user table
*user_groups table
*user_newtalk table
*validate table
*watchlist table

Please do not remove votes from the a new edition page. Although these votes are from users who do not currently have a meta user page, this does not necessarily make them completely invalid in tallying. Allow the vote tallying persons to handle determining what are valid votes, please. - Amgine 05:45, 9 December 2005 (UTC)
Explanation of the link tables
:Okay. Jon Harald Søby (talk, contrib) 12:27, 9 December 2005 (UTC)
There are presently three link tables: links, brokenlinks and imagelinks. There are a couple of uses for these tables:
* enables "What links here" and "Related changes" to work, looking at incoming or outgoing links
* provides the list of pages that use an image shown on an image's description page
* allows making reports of pages that aren't linked (Orphans, Unused images) or are linked to but don't exist (Most wanted pages)
* slightly speed up page rendering by avoiding individual checks for the existence of each linked page to determine how to render its link

Template:Delete
The latest software also adds a 'linkscc' table which caches data from the other three tables. This is used only for speeding rendering.

Ah... so that's what it's for. I'm going to reword it to make it more clear it's a speedy delete template. Ambush Commander 21:08, 20 December 2005 (UTC)
Maintenance of link tables
If you import data to the cur table and don't rebuild the links, you
won't be able to use "What links here", "Related changes", "Orphans",
etc. If you don't want to, well I suppose that's okay... (Brion Vibber)

Okay, I'll look into it. What should I do if the IP matches any of the users? (And what if it doesn't?) Jon Harald Søby 20:37, 18 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Just answer the question to Maldoror and also probably to es:Usuario:Edub which is a sysop. They'll take from there. --Ascánder 20:50, 18 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The 6800 edit rule

Hello,

A few days ago you changed the 5000 limit to 6800 [1]. A user asked a question about that on Talk:Right to vanish. I wish I could give the answer myself, but I have to say I have no clue about this. I'd be glad if you would provide some explanation. Theo F 12:37, 14 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It's now up to 20 000! (That means, if it keeps rising, I can finally change my name on w:no: from Jhs to Jon Harald Søby!) Jon Harald Søby 19:27, 14 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
OK Thanks. Theo F 14:29, 17 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
