List of Wikipedians who have Asperger's Syndrome.

  • Rekkr - Self-diagnosed. Scored 42 on the Aspie Quotient test provided by Wired. He is interested in science, history, linguistics, and obscure music.
  • Louisisthebest_007 was diagnosed with AS when he was young, It gave me an interesting perspective on things and made me more unique then other people.
  • Karmafist was diagnosed in the mid 90's. Some of my psychologist friends say I don't have it anymore, but trust me, I'm still awkward with many people. I'm also quite possibly the first ever political candidate with Asperger's.(I ran for State Rep in Merrimack, New Hampshire in 2004)
  • AmyNelson was diagnosed in 1997. I am an autism rights activist, I have three asperger's and autism related websites, the main ones being Aspies for Freedom and Autism Assembly
  • Dralwik was diagnosed as a child nearly a decade ago.
  • zccleve 15 September 2004, 9:40am Central Time: Zach has been diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome by the University of Iowa Hospital. In college and still 17 (Almost 18, just 3 more days), he is focused on human rights and a devout reader of Noam Chomsky. He is an anarcho-socialist.
  • Beau99 Not formally diagnosed, but misdiagnosed with ADD. I knew it was incorrect, so I read some info online, and that's when I came to the conclusion. I also took the "autism quotient" test, and I scored in the correct range.
  • Diamonddavej Diagnosed 2002, but knew I was different since 6 years old. I collect minerals and I’m into astronomy.
  • Eric119
  • Perl 19:26, 19 Apr 2004 (UTC)
  • JB82 (also JB82) 23:55, 23 Apr 2004 (UTC); updated 20:39, 11 April 2005 (UTC), recently scored 25 on AQ test[reply]
  • Simfish - Diagnosed with Asperger's in 7th grade, obsessed with college admissions, Collegeboard exams, and presidential elections.
  • Ubern00b 02:56, 24 Apr 2004 (UTC)
  • Node does not actually have Asperger's syndrome, but once a doctor told him he did. The problem was, the doctor's speciality was autism and he thought we thought I had some form of autism. Every doctor I've since asked has told me that it's a bogus diagnosis, but it is interesting nonetheless.
  • Suitov also appears to be transmitting it to friends, as several of them have considered seeking diagnoses. (Some of these may be more along the lines of "Hey, I don't much like talking to people either!" and similar inanities.) Suitov, however, did it first.
  • Gerritholl 08:24, 2 Jun 2004 (UTC) I have Asperger's Syndrome, see also: [1]
  • Nathan Ladd 08:00 20 Jun 2004 (UTC)
  • Perl 17:03, 25 Jun 2004 (UTC) (WrongPlanet.net Online community for Asperger's Syndrome and Autism) Asperger Disorder
  • rjstreet and his son are both diagnosed with mild Aspergers Syndrome.
  • Lussmu is a hardcore Asperger
  • masterdlx was diagnosed Asperger's in early 1997 (oldskool) but is probably actually HFA, if there actually was a difference that is; special interests include organic chemistry, roads, and women (not in an ironic sense)
  • Applegoddess 08:51, 30 Jul 2004 (UTC) was diagnosed with mild asperger's, do'h.
  • Hilarythebaker was diagnosed as having Asperger's with ADHD-like symptoms in 2003. She has also been speculated as having Pervasive Developmental Disorder instead of Asperger's. "My mother claims that I just have 'Hilary,'" she says.
  • Gherald A family friend made the suggestion, and the description fits like a glove though I'm pretty sure I have a mild case. I'm geeky, antisocial, etc. and scored 34 on this "AQ" test. I do not think I will ever bother seeking formal diagnosis, since I'm perfectly happy with my everyday life as-is and feel no need to "compensate."
  • Linn formally diagnosed
  • codeman38 has been diagnosed, and scores in the Aspie range on all those tests as well...
  • Kingal86 is undiagnosed but has may Aspergers traits. He is a 17-year-old boy who is socially inept, left-wing, pro-Palestinian, pro-Chechen separatism, anti-US imperialism, pro-drugs legalisation and likes reading Noam Chomsky, Robert Fisk and John Pilger. 21:40, 25 Sep 2004 (UTC)
  • NanoTy was diagnosed with ADD in 1991 and Asperger's Syndrome in 2001. He is currently studying materials science and engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology
  • El Chico — diagnosed at age 6 or 7…now that I'm 14 that's been half my life.
  • sportsdude820 was diagnosed with autism at age 3 and, at age 15, was formally diagnosed with Asperger's. He is a fan of sports, obviously, and once spoke at a state-wide autism conference in Washington.
  • Petrus Scriptor was diagnosed with Asperger's at the age of 17, in early 2000. He has since managed to get a degree in History and is training to be a journalist. He has also become active within the UK Conservative Party.
  • lysdexia I like asparagus. I got a 22 on that AQ test, so I guess that means I don't love asparagus. [Seriously], I may have had both symptoms of this and the opposite, so that I was both awkward and inept at social situations but still able to understand them.. so it was more of a neurokinesthetic problem than a neuropsychological problem, I guess. lysdexia 21:52, 30 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • TheAL 06:32, 12 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Alphax scored 21 on this "AQ" test, was (mis)diagnosed with ADD around age 8 (still unsure of validity of diagnosis), has become more social in recent years... finds it difficult to talk (type?) about self in third person, now happy with title of Geek (socialised Nerd).
  • Phil179 scored 35 on the same test. Never was diagnosed, but I do find myself focusing on odd things and ignoring people.
  • tubutler
  • Rebroad 00:28, 28 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Ted-m
  • Circeus Diagnosed 2003 after years of therapy. My psychologist refused the diagnostic (She didn't want to "put a mark" on me) despite several counter-opinions.
  • Djinn112 is diagnosed and scores 38 on that Wired.com test.
  • Zora is diagnosed and scores 37 on the Wired.com test.
  • Niton was diagnosed with Asperger's in 1996, and is interested with dynamics, musical tempo and dogs.

  • CrazyDreamer Formal diagnoses (several).
  • Jack Cox was diagnosed in 2002, was diagnosed with ADHD in 1992 and Autism Spectrum Disorder in 2004
  • GusGus – After a particularly troubling year of school, I was diagnosed with Asperger's at about age 9, although I don't think I quite knew about it myself until middle school. I'm now 18. I scored a 43 on that AQ test deal.
  • B-101 - Diagnosed in 3rd grade. The thing I was most obsessed about was trains. A lot of my friends also have been diagnosed with Asperger's.
  • Eyu100
  • Bennmorland is a diagnosed Aspie obsessed with history in general, and prone to develop short-term free-time-encompassing hobbies (such as collecting "relevant" newspaper articles for "the future"). Has a full-blown autistic aphasic uncle who paints like van Gogh. Diagnosis came in 2001, when he went in to get tested for ADD. Yeah, he has that, too.
  • Zscout370. Diagnossed when I was young, began to research information lately to see how does AS tie/make up my everyday life. I am interested in flags, politics, national anthems and the former Soviet Union.
  • Xen0phile Adult diagnosis, Feb. of 2005. I was actually suprised by my diagnosis, but a few friends and family already suspected it.
  • Diddy Didds Diagnosed in August 2003.
