Merge accounts again

Arwel Parry

Hi, in setting up a unified login, I've become aware of a number of places where trolls have created accounts in my name (one of the penalties of being a fairly active vandal-fighting admin!). Can User:Arwel_Parry on the following sites please be deleted:

en.wiktionary.org - used in May 2003 and Nov 2007 to attack another admin.

fr.wikipedia.org - set up by notorious vandal "Michael" in Aug 2005 to comment on another users' page; blocked since Sep 2005.

mo.wikipedia.org - false user page created in Aug 2005, probably by "Michael".

pt.wikipedia.org - used once in Nov 2007 to upload an offensive image.

Unfortunately, the problem with this advice is that I don't speak, read, or write Portuguese or Moldovan (even if that one wasn't locked), and have no idea where even to find a bureaucrat on those wikis, even if I can open communications with them. 35 years after my school exams, my French isn't too hot either. It would be useful if a steward would take the bull by the horns and peremptorily rename those accounts - no-one with any good intentions will ever want them if the future anyway. -- Arwel 22:20, 19 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Local bureaucrats should be able to understand your English. The bureaucrats are listed on the Special:ListUsers/bureaucrat page on respective projects. Stewards simply can't do anything if there are local people that can carry out the tasks. --FiLiP ¤ 08:20, 20 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Here you can request locking of some global account, so nobody will be able to log under it.
