Turkmen characters

Hi, Spacebidy! Me again bothering You. There is a problem with some letters (actually 8 characters) in providing internal links as I provided an example for each. In the problematic way, wiki recognizes these letters as the first letter of a new word, not the continuation of the present word. In the present way, it is time-consuming and intimidating (or discouraging) to provide internal links. I think these characters need some kind of settings. It might a big problem with respect to programming or otherwise. Would You please help me to fix it or direct me to someone who can do that?! By the way this issuealso seems unfixed. Sysop right, period, and policy

Hello, Ndege. I have some questions regarding the rights of the sysop who's been inactive for a year/six months. Do they have a right to have the sysop right for all that time? Gently I know that when someone who been active in certain projects and eventually got disappear, has always comes to Meta and ask for his/her removal of access. But one of the people who been active in our community, they are not even think to do so. What I want to know is the policy of removing sysop rights. I asked this because I listed some of our former users and it's occured that I need to know the rules (which periods are suppose to remove someone from the sysop rights). That's all. Rename of all accounts of my SUL

I have a question, I want to go through with a rename of my universal SUL from ChristianMan16 to Christianrocker90. My problem with that is I read I'd have to request a rename on each individual wiki to complete the universal part, but with like 40 or so wiki's to do it on and me not speaking most of the languages, not to mention with me being blocked for 6 months on one and banned indef on another, I was wondering is there a place where I can request a rename and a steward or someone go and rename in each wiki? SZ & SZ(Bel)

Hello. This is me again. Is it possible to unit two accounts (SZ & SZ(Bel)) on be.wiki in one, f.e. in SZ(Mn) (this forth advice was the best as I suppose:))? Hello Spacebirdy! Thanks for the bugreport. Looking forward for the update now. Could You please also render assistance in translating some stuff. Turkmen wiktionary and also wikipedia still use English words such as Template:, Category:, Mediawiki:, ets. In the same way at the status bar of IE turkmen wikis' names are as in English, namely wiktionary not wikisözlük and wikipedia instead of wikipediýa. For instance these two are vikisözlük and vikipedi in Turkish, and in Russian викисловарь and википедия. Now I want to localise the aforesaid and like. But till today I couldn'r find a way to achieve this. Seemingly, it is not translated in translatewiki.net. I would appreciate if You could help me as usual. De acuerdo pues. Hace un par de días añadí es.wikisource (que estaba sin monitorizar). Álvaro vuelve a estar activo, mira por ejemplo este usuario o s:es:Special:Log/block - q:es:Special:Log/block. Viendo esto y esto (pasado) y esto, esto (presente, hay más) ha cambiado de ISP, pero no de modus operandi. Lo de la protección se me debió pasar, la tengo así en eswiki, ahora la cambio. Global username changes

Hi, thanks for your answer on "username changes". I think I'm a bit confused as to the way I should change my username. What I was looking for was some way to change my username on all the wikis including commons and foreign wikis (mainly French, Spanish and Chinese). Removing admin privileges from a user

Hi Spacebirdy!

We're having a vote at pt.wikt to remove admin privileges from a user. I checked the user rights management page and it says there that I cannot remove his admin privileges, which I find weird since I'm a bureaucrat. Therefore, I would like to ask you what is the procedure to have his admin privs removed.

The vote only officialy ends two days from now, but this user has used his privileges in the last week to vandalize our wiki and to block some of the good contributors we have. I want to remove his privs as soon as possible, to avoid any more troubles with him.

Can you help me? Thanks in advance.

Automatic approval

Hola Spacebirdy, perdona que te moleste de nuevo pero estoy interesado en solicitar flag de bot para Dfergbot en astwiki para colocar interwikis sólamente. He visto que astwiki permite explícitamente el "automatic approval" para ese tipo de tareas sin embargo me encuentro con w:ast:Uiquipedia:Bots/Autorizaciones. ¿Debo anunciar que voy a trabajar con el bot en esa wiki en esa página aunque quiera optar por la aprobación automática?. Al final me decanté por hacerlo, viendo que en esa wiki en particular reparten bloqueos infinite como rosquillas creo que lo mejor es cubrirse las espaldas y si pasa algo, por lo menos decir yo ya te había avisado. I've just removed my block. Here you said that "I don't see any bad thing he is doing here, and blocks are not for punishing people but to prevent damage". I see a little contradiction in your words: prevention and recidivism are not really synonyms. Paulo was not blocked for punishment, but for prevention, after a report by a kowiki admin (he hacked some accounts there).
