Wikimedia Small Projects in Spanish
PRESENTATION
Coordination, collaboration and development
Wikimedia Small Projects (WikiSP or WSP) is a user group that gathers Wikimedians of distinct projects and their communities with the aim to promote them, improve their development and diffusion, collaborate between this group and coordinate actions in association with Wikipedia, Wikimedia Commons, Wikidata as well as also collaborations with other chapters, thematic organisations, and user groups to execute such purposes. The projects in which we develop our activity are described below. The language in which we mainly work is in spanish, due to the fact that the vast majority of our members are spanish-speaking, without ceasing to give reactive support to the other linguistic communities.
DEFINITION, GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
Definition
This group defines "small projects" as all Wikimedia projects of that are not developed projects, namely: Wikivoyage, Wikinews, Wikibooks, Wikisource, Wikiversity, Wikispecies and Wiktionary.
Among these, pay particular attention to Wikinews, Wikibooks, Wikiversity, and Wikivoyage, without excluding projects that have not been mentioned.
Also, events will be held within other developed projects (Wikipedia, Wikimedia Commons, Wikidata).
The geography of the group will always be 'global' , but our work may change from reactive -supporting chapters or user groups with established geography when they so request- to proactive -supporting the aforementioned and leading them- as has been discussed with said affiliates. The Administrative Commission will focus the group's efforts in certain countries if it considers that the objectives will be efficiently met.
Activities
- Constant communication with the projects described above to know their problems and offer potential solutions.
- Regular events to focus attention on small projects.

- Short-term support for Spanish-speaking communities, specifically those that do not have members present.
- Long-term support focused on non-Spanish-speaking communities, specifically those that do not have members present.

ORIGIN
Our objectives and foundational text
Our group has a fundamental text that contains more information on the organization and constitution of the group. This section, however, summarizes such information for the purposes of better understanding the motivations behind its creation. In summary:
- Three active members: Galahad, Millars, NoonIcarus.
- The group complies with the guidelines related to the name and related practices of the Foundation regarding logos—confirmed by a member of the legal team.
- To join the group, just press this button also is in the final section of this page. Please note the following criteria::
- The user group is global, which means that, regardless of jurisdiction, anyone can join.
- The user group is open to all, which means that volunteering in one of the projects that this group emphasizes is not a prerequisite, much less a limitation to join. You can join if you participate in these projects or simply want to contribute to our activities.
- The primary contacts are Galahad and NoonIcarus.
- The main objective of the group is the short-term support of small projects in Spanish since most of the members are Spanish-speaking. As a long-term goal, extended support is also intended for small projects in other languages.
