Эта модель имела множество поклонников среди руководителей Третьего Рейха. Спортивный кабриолет BMW 327/28 в своем послевоенном виде стал символом высокого статуса для преданных и значимых членов Социалистической партии. Поклонники раритетных автомобилей считают эту модель одним из самых красивых кабриолетов из всех, когда-либо выпускавшихся компанией BMW.
