Summary

Description
English: Human corneal limbal epithelial cells on tissue culture plastic. This is a BSE-image of a lanthanoid-stained sample taken with EVO LS10 scanning electron microscope (Zeiss, Germany) without prior fixation, nor dehydration, nor sputtering (a method developed by BioREE, Russia, with support from the Research Institute of Eye Diseases, Russia). One can see long fine strands, untypical for this type of cells, forming multiple attachments to the dish surface. Coauthor: A.M. Subbot
