Here's a place where you can request accounts with offensive names or vandal-only contributions to be banned and hidden from the global user list.

Here you can request your account deletion and usurpation on wikis without active bureaucrats, or request the deletion of a global account if you need to be renamed or to usurp an account elsewhere. Please add new requests at the bottom!

I can't create my global account. I received this message, when I tried to go to Special:MergeAccount :

Hello. I am a sysop from Vietnamese Wiki and have accounts with the same name in many projects (en, ru, fr, sv ...) as well as on Meta and Commons [8]. I confirm my request upon usurpation here: [9].

Mig

Hi, this is not so much a usurpation request but a request for notifying a user by email, related to SUL. "Mig" here has an account named "MiG" on the german wikipedia, which is one of two "MiG" accounts cross-wiki that I'm still unable to merge. I've already tried to contact him on his main account's talk page here, but his edit history shows he hasn't been active for seven months so he might not be visiting anymore. Unable to unify accounts

Previously had my SUL account deleted, but now after usurping can't recreate it, it says password is invalid. I suspect it's something to do with bugzilla:14330. Is there anything that can be done? AlexJ 22:47, 8 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do the following: go to the accounts that belonged to You and retrieve the password via email. Login with the new temporary password, change it to the one You want to use and then merge from this wiki to the already created sul account. (You have to do these steps from every single wiki that You can't access anymore)

Sorry, to clarify I can log into every account that was part of the deleted SUL (everything listed on the SUL collision tool). What I can't do is create a unified account again (My Preferences, Manage your global account) - the error I get when entering my password is this: [14]. Hello. I'd like to request the deletion of my account on the Spanish Wiki to move on with the SUL process. I'm not one hundred percent sure this might work, though. When I tried to UL earlier, on both English and Spanish Wikis, it said the inputted password was wrong, but I actually introduced them correctly.

Hello, accounts can not be deleted only renamed. If the account on es.wiki is Yours try to login and if You forgot the password get a new one via passwordrecovery. If it does not work and You want it to be renamed, if You own that account on es.wiki or not, You will have to ask for a rename in es.wiki: es:Wikipedia:Cambiar el nombre de usuario.

No, I don't want to delete it. In the reference original request I was instructed to request unlocking it. Frankly I don't understand why.
What I want to do is to rename my local account here in Meta to the same name as my global account (أحمد) so that I can consolidate them. I do not want to rename my global account.
If you think I do not need to change anything with my global account in order to rename and consolidate my local account in Meta, please help me explain this to the concerned people on the other page (or help me do it immediately).

That user who gave You that advise is wrong, Your account does not need to be unlocked, it is not locked. To rename You from "Alif01" or something else to "أحمد" the sul account has to be deleted due to bug 13507. After that You have to remerge it again (activating sul again). In fact they first told me to delete my SUL account, but then after some arguing from me they said to unlock it.
Deleting the SUL account won't affect my existing local account on my home wiki (that is ar.wikipedia), right?
what about the bug reports I glimpsed that are mitigated when there are automatically created accounts? Once deleted, will I be able to reactivate SUL again and consolidate those automatically created accounts as well, or will I have to request deleting them one by one locally?
Lastly, do you recommend waiting until the bug you referenced is cleared?

I wish there was such option, to "unlock an account for renames", but right now the lock/unlock only means: locked=You can't login to any wikis.unlocked=default, logging to wikis is possible.
Deleting sul is not affecting Your homewiki account, it just unmerges all accounts and clears the registered global name.
There were some problems and bugs in the past, as You might have noticed, but they should have been fixed (I have tested that today with a testaccount, remerging without problems)
The things that could happen: some people reported that they got a different homewiki after remerging, but it should have been fixed with the latest bug, however I could not test that. The automatic created accounts were a problem in the past, and after deletion the password got lost, but that was fixed too, nevertheless I ask everyone to make sure that a valid email is set in special:preferences, so they can recover their accounts via email passwordrecovery if that happens again.
All Your autocreated accounts are newer, so they should not be affected (as said, with my testaccounts that worked):

To be honnest, I can not recommend You neither to wait for the fix of bug 13507, because we don't know if or when it might happen, nor to delete Your account, because this could be problematic. However, I think it can be done quite save, when following the recommendation to enter an email and to login to the old autocreated accounts, but it is Your decision now. If Your decision is yes, deletion, please do that confirmation on ar.wiki.
"أحمد" btw. has two unattached accounts, but You might be aware of that.

Hm, the cool thing about SUL is that one can login to every wiki, so it should be possible. I had that error to being logged out after I logged in when I forget to check "remember me" [20] -> "Ne léptessen ki a böngésző bezárásakor." The account Gothika was created automatically today here on Meta, but if You can't stay logged in there is something with the cookies or with that checkbox or if it is something else, I don't know :'(
