Yes, there are no pictures, not a mistake, I'm waiting to upload them, and fill in the ***s with names, etc.
These entries are in the order I received them, based on multiple postings in multiple locales, over multiple months. I ask you to treat all of these artists with respect, even if you're completely against their designs. This discussion is not the place to discuss the validity of Kiki/Keiki/Niki/Nikki, this is solely to discuss what design(s) is your pick, and why you think these are the best.
I've included any back history, portfolios of work, that sort of thing, when made available to me, to let you get a better understanding of what each artist has to offer the project.
Note that colours were optional in the calls for entry, I actually asked that there not be colour originally, the post #2 responded to. Actually, the post #1 and #2 responded to asked for Kiki in multiple poses.
The post #3, #4 were from did not ask for Kiki/Nikki to be Hawaiian, as I could sense that restriction was restraining creative freedoms.
Before we were begin, I must comment that while I'm completely satisifed with what we received for this project, I was expecting to have more of the deviantArt and other communities to jump at the chance to have their work in a true publication.

Her's Kiki by Peter Paltridge. He actually developed a comic strip about a girl named Keiki, who lives in Hawaii. You may visit it online at ***********************.

This sandaled Hawaiian cutey is by Alexander Shen. Alex has a relatively long-running webcomic, Gashapon Shop, http://www.gashaponshop.net/ .

This design by ***** was created as a hybrid between American and Japanese styles.

This growing anime girl is by "Azarath". Azarath has a DeviantArt account at http://azarath.deviantart.com/gallery/. Azarath is Lan, an American female.

This design is by Alexander Shen, the same artist behind #2. These are illustrations/panel that I stole with permission for his comic strip Gashapon Shop (http://www.gashaponshop.net/). The character is named Rainee, and she runs a hobby shop for her dad. The reason I've included this character is because I'm anticipating many of you will find #2 too cutesy.

Slyvia Strijk's design is described on her deviantArt page as "a little rascal, tuff girl type". She also apologizes for the watermark, but is concerned about protecting her designs.
