이베로쿱의 로고는 이베로아메리카의 협력을 상징합니다

이베로아메리카 지역 협력 이니셔티브(줄여서 이베로쿱)는 로컬 지부와 작업 그룹을 연결하여 이 지역에 지부를 만들고 협력을 촉진하고 경험을 공유하는 것을 목표로 합니다. 이베로아메리카는 위키미디어 운동의 조직이 여전히 큰 도전 과제인 전략적 영역을 가정합니다. 기존의 지부 뿐만 아니라 기존의 비공식 워킹 그룹을 고려한 이니셔티브가 이를 극복할 수 있을 것이라고 믿습니다.

이베로쿱은 원래 위키미디어 아르헨티나가 위키마니아 2010 동안 그단스크에서 열린 특별 지부 회의에 참석한 다른 이베로아메리카 지부와 작업 그룹에 제안했습니다. 이 결과 메일링 리스트가 설정되어 대부분의 지부와 작업 그룹이 되었습니다. 이 지역에서 운영되는 위키미디어 이탈리아는 이미 대표됩니다. 참여 의사가 있으신 분은 아래의 "가입 방법" 섹션을 참조하세요.

The Iberocoop mailing list is currently hosted by Wikimedia. If you are part of a working group like Wikimujeres or WikiDonne, or a working group in Spain, Italy, Portugal or any Latin American country and want to get in touch in your language with other efforts in our region, please write to our mailing list presenting yourself and your group. You can alternatively contact Patricio Molina, the list's administrator, at secretariawikimedia.org.ar.

Subscription requests are discussed by current participants and, if no objections arise, they are accepted. According to an internal agreement between the groups forming Iberocoop the maximum number of representatives per chapter or working group is of three people. Of course, each group is free to choose their representatives.

Take into account that Iberocoop's working languages are Spanish, Italian and Portuguese — not English, as we want to enable interaction and cooperation in our own languages, enabling all of us to participate on equal foot. Chapters or working groups from outside Ibero-America are invited to subscribe if they are interested, but you'd better be able to understand Spanish, Italian or Portuguese.

What are we doing?

• Sharing experiences on chapter building between established chapters and working groups in the region;
• Discussing Wikimedia matters on our native languages;
• Coordinating and sharing information about events and celebrations of our projects, as the Wikipedia 10;
• On May 2013, after Wikipedia en español reached a million articles, a video was created with the participation of Wikimedia Chile, Wikimedia España, Wikimedia México, Wikimedia Venezuela and the forming chapter in Bolivia to thank the community for these last 12 years of hard work.
• A partnership agreement was reached between Wikimedia Argentina and Pau Educacion for WMAR to coordinate the Wiki Mundo space on the Aulas Creativas platform and contributions from chapters of our region to promote the use of wiki projects in innovative educational proposals.
