This is not a vote and any active Wikimedia editor may participate in the discussion.

Requests for global rollback permissions

Please be sure to follow the instructions below:
Your request might be rejected if you don't follow the instructions, and not doing so would reflect poorly on your suitability.
Please also review the Global rollback policy.
Instructions for making a request

Before requesting, make sure that: You have sufficient activity to meet the requirements to be allocated the global rollback flag

To make a request
Copy the template below to the bottom of this section and explain of why you need the access and why you're suitable.
=== Global rollback for {{subst:u|{{subst:REVISIONUSER}}}} ===
{{sr-request
 |status    = <!-- don't change this line -->
 |domain    = global <!-- don't change this line -->
 |user name = {{subst:REVISIONUSER}} <!-- don't change this line unless you're nominating another user -->
}}
::''Not ending before {{subst:#time:j F Y H:i|+5 days}} UTC''

The request will be approved if consensus to do so exists after a period of consideration of no less than 5 days (with rare exceptions , no matter how obvious the result may seem). This is not a vote, and all input is welcome. Stewards will determine whether consensus exists; when doing so it is likely that the weight given to the input of those involved in cross-wiki work will be most influential.

Global rollback for Максим Підліснюк

Hi. Recently I look for in a small Wiki edits, and I do not have the possibility to undo vandalism. Moreover, as I have OTRS agent, I often have to meet vandalism in various inactive projects.

Also I'm bureaucrat and administrator in Ukrainian Wikipedia, and is often a situation where locally blocking vandal I do not have the possibility to remove him globally. --Максим Підліснюк (talk) 12:53, 11 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Comment. That block was a year ago and was applied after a single edit. I'm not in a position to translate the edit to check it myself at this time, but it seems a little unfair to write off a GR request solely on that basis. QuiteUnusual (talk) 16:17, 11 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Well, you have do a point, but doesn't change my position on Максим Підліснюк, his lack of crosswiki activity doesn't make it better, Максим Підліснюк mainly only do edit and antivandal activity on Russian Wikis.--AldNonymousBicara? 16:38, 11 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Aldnonymous: In fact indicated block in the Russian Wiktionary rather strange to me. Maybe you heard about what the Ukrainian fans have given the nickname Vladimir Putin. Once I made it in an article, and perhaps that time is contrary to consensus. Then I was locked in a year (for single edit) indicating the reason "Inserting false information". I spoke to sysop asking for unblocking, but he ignored me. I would like to say that this block expires on Tuesday. --Максим Підліснюк (talk) 19:43, 11 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Neutral Neutral per Aldnonymous on the cross-wiki experience part. The block situation itself was a bit harsh, but we all make mistakes. Not a perfect world. Thanks for nominating though. Tropicalkitty (talk) 09:45, 12 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Neutral Neutral Unfortunately, it actually doesn't look like you have much experience with crosswiki anti-vandalism work. I'm sure everyone appreciates your offer to help. I would like to see more contributions across a number of projects before I would be comfortable supporting you having global rollback. Regards--Grind24 (talk) 21:18, 12 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • I would prefer to see more xwiki experience before granting this right. The block does not concern me, as it is obviously done contra to best wiki practice. Ajraddatz (talk) 21:20, 12 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Global rename for K6ka

Not ending before 20 June 2015 14:25 UTC

Hello, I'm K6ka, and I'd like to request the global renamer tool partly due to a suggestion by Xeno, who is a local en.wiki bureaucrat and a fellow global renamer. I'm afraid I do not hold the sysop or bureaucrat flags anywhere on Wikimedia, but I am very involved in the en.wikipedia changing username process, working as a clerk there for well over a year now (before the rename tool was removed from bureaucrats), so I know about the renaming process. Having the global rename tool would be useful as it would allow me to process requests instead of having to leave a message and waiting for a global renamer to handle it. I have read and understood the Global rename policy and I plan to put this tool to good use. Thanks. --I am k6ka Talk to me! See what I have done 14:25, 6 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Interface editor for Candalua

Interwiki links have all been added in Wikidata for Main page and Special:Recentchanges, but a lot of Wikisource projects didn't remove the local interwiki links. This is resulting in duplicated links being shown (example). I would like to fix this situation by removing the links where necessary. 1 week can be enough to perform the task. Thanks, --Candalua (talk) 16:39, 10 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

On most small projects, local admins aren't there or don't even know how to do it... I'm the one who added those links years back. Candalua (talk) 08:18, 11 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hrrm, true, I thought you gonna act on big wikis, apparently I'm wrong, I have no objection with this request.--AldNonymousBicara? 16:15, 11 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
