Meta-Wiki has a small active community. When a normal user requires the assistance of an administrator or bureaucrat for some particular task, it is not always easy to find one. This page helps users find one when they need one; asking specific admins directly via their talk pages is one way to elicit a fast response. It is only for assistance required at Meta-Wiki, help for other wikis needs to be requested at those wikis.

Closure of RFCs

Maybe someone could have a look whether Meta:Requests for comment/Meta admin ~riley is abusing power and Meta:Requests for comment/Admin Billinghurst is abusing power - limiting editing my userpage for no reason could be closed. I think they can be, they are not active anymore and really never have attracted many comments. I have commented on the former to understand what the issue actually is supposed to be, but I failed to understand it. Hence I'm not closing them myself. But it seems a bit stupid for these two admins to have "open" RFCs with their name in them when nobody except the opener of the RFC is thinking that they are "abusing power". --MF-W 19:12, 7 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thinking that that account should be blocked temporarily from editing the whole site, I think... 58.177.90.87 02:37, 13 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Ping pong pung. --MF-W 21:46, 22 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I have made the above proposal, which would involve the responsibilities of Meta administrators. --Rschen7754 21:16, 14 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Requests for edits to a protected page

here WikiBayer rollbacked and did not explain. His talk page is semi protected so can someone please ask him why? Thanks. 2600:387:5:805:0:0:0:88 11:53, 20 June 2020 (EDT)

Stop making nonsense request. If you do not want to be blocked globally, you simply have to refrain from your crosswiki spam.--𝐖𝐢𝐤𝐢𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫 👤💬 17:06, 20 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I don’t think their request is a “nonsense” request. If it is misplaced, you should help this user to post on appropriate page. If the community does not support the request, then time will suffice to abandon it, no need to remove the request. --Pols12 (talk) 18:07, 21 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Pols12: thanks. This might be an appropriate page. Also, WikiBayer could have just undid it or left a custom message. 2600:387:5:805:0:0:0:58 21:38, 21 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Pols12:Info: The ip is a crosswiki LTA -𝐖𝐢𝐤𝐢𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫 👤💬 14:45, 22 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@WikiBayer: I was not responsible for any abuse, it was people on my /60 that were abusive.
