This page holds approved requests for temporary permissions until they expire. Please add new requests on the request page and not here.

Stewards: please do not archive these requests until all temporary rights have been removed. Please move them to the latest archive (linked in the request page's header) after processing. The requests are ordered by the date of removal. Please state the date in bold text at the bottom of the section for ease of processing.

If you remove or extend global rights, please add in bold extended or removed, so the bot knows what can be archived.

Not all global rights changes (such as global IP block exempts) are notified here; please watch Special:Log/gblrights to see them all.

I'm pleased to report that my main objective—curbing the aggressive, persistent, and vigorous vandalism and harassment that had been plaguing the Bulgarian projects at the time—has been successfully achieved. Being also a sysop on bgwiki (for 6 years now), bgwikt (2 years), bgquote (6 months), and bgbooks (3 months), this goal has also been met on all these projects, preventing the vandals from jumping from one wiki to another. Needless to say, this success is not a product that you deliver once and forever. The old vandals continue testing whether they can slip through, and new ones will always emerge. Hence why I'd like to ask for an extension of my sysop rights on bgsource. As always, my commitment to the anti-vandalism efforts is long-term, so I (and obviously my colleagues too) will appreciate a longer term extension: if not permanent, then hopefully for at least a year, so that people aren't bothered to repeat their votes too often.

@Iliev: with 18 active user it'll be hard to grant permanent sysopship, because there's no real community. Also if we take a look at the voters on your request, we'll found that only 4 (from 14) have more than 50 edits, and 10 with less than 10 edits! --Alaa :)..! 15:42, 29 March 2018 (UTC)

Hello, my 1-year temporary sysop status has expired on 2018-04-03 and I'm asking for a renewal.

I've been an administrator of this project since June 2016 on a temporary base, because we only have a small community who is contributing infrequently. I think, there should be at least one local sysop to do the job of observing and blocking vandalism and SPAM.

In addition to my contributions to keep this project alive, I would like to continue with importing, maintaining and updating scripts used by the translation editor, an activity that requires administrator rights too.

Again applying for renewal on bgbooks (link), just like on bgsource (link), with the same reason: combating the persistent and aggressive cross-project vandalism and harassment, which our Bulgarian communities have been facing in recent years. This is a long-term and serious commitment and since the community is getting somewhat weary of the constant need to vote for the two projects, I'll really appreciate if the rights could be given for at least one year, as was the case with Wikisource above.
