The thing is that the article I'm interesting at seems - to me - important. In France (I'm French) , "Gribeco" (= "salebot", a robot against vandalism at wikipedia, recently came and helped me in to the title : "Pierre Larrouturou").

Welcome to Meta!

Hello NuclearWarfare, and welcome to the Wikimedia Meta-Wiki! This website is for coordinating and discussing all Wikimedia projects. You may find it useful to read our policy page. If you are interested in doing translations, visit Meta:Babylon. You can also leave a note on Meta:Babel or Wikimedia Forum (please read the instructions at the top of the page before posting there). Request for deadminship at viwikiquote

I recently asked for a temporary +sysop at viwikiquote to help do some cleanup there; I am all done with that now. Could the next steward that sees this please remove my permissions there? Thanks. NuclearWarfare 23:04, 14 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Help at pt.wikibooks

Hi NuclearWarfar,

I don't think I saw you before at pt.wikibooks but thank you for your help. It is really appreciated. - Jorge Morais 02:21, 20 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Sure, no problem! If you ever come across a vandal situation like that; feel free to ask me (or any of the people at SWMT) for help; we'll be glad to! NuclearWarfare 04:04, 20 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thanks

For the fix. –Juliancolton | Talk 03:45, 20 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

templates

Could you please use {{reverted}} instead of {{removed}} in cases like this? {{removed}} is for removing domains from the blacklist; {{reverted}} is for when we revert link additions. This just helps us tell what's going on at a quick glance. Thanks  — Mike.lifeguard | @en.wb 02:46, 24 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Oh, sure thing. Sorry about that. NuclearWarfare 14:37, 25 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

questions

Those are good questions about the budget. -- sj | help translate |+ 23:05, 19 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thank you. The budget issues are enormously important, and I hope the candidates know what they are doing regarding those matters. NuclearWarfare 23:08, 19 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
Funny, sj, I just came here to say the same thing. They're relevant, important questions -- NuclearWarfare, thank you for asking them. Sue Gardner 18:40, 20 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thanks

Thank you for reverting vandalism in my userpage. --Meno25 22:37, 2 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

No problem; I'm glad I could help help. (By the way, I think you're a steward, so this might be of interest to you.) NW (Talk) 22:39, 2 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thanks

Hi! Thanks for fixing so fast that spamming message! Glad to see that we have some vigilant "guardian angels" upon us! :-D Thanks again from Italian Wikisource!

Goude ar Bleiz, ar Vran

You met a Mr Bleiz's work in Breton wikipedia yesterday. A Miss Bran is working just the same. If you can solve this new vandalism problem, thanks in advance. http://br.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Dibar:Contributions&limit=500&target=Bran. Bianchi-Bihan 13 Gwe 2009 da 07:46 (UTC)

Looks like most of it was already taken care of, but I got the rest. You may want to check out http://br.wikipedia.org/wiki/Implijer:Bran though. NW (Talk) 15:53, 13 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Procréation assistée Canada on fr-wiki (Assisted Human Reproduction Canada on en-wiki)

Dear NuclearWarfare,

I was wondering why you removed the link from fr:Procréation assistée Canada to en:Assisted Human Reproduction Canada, with the edit summary "Attribution: Article originally created by en:User:Ahrcpac". I understand that when I created the article with the summary "Transwiki d'un article créé par erreur sur en-Wikipedia" (transwiki of an article created by mistake on en-Wikipedia) I should have included the attribution for the creation of the article; that's a lesson I'll learn for next time! However, I don't understand why you removed the link to the English version. Regards, -- Александр Дмитрий (Alexandr Dmitri) 18:18, 22 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

On enwiki, the usual course of action is to attribute it in either the edit history alone, or the edit history and the talk page. I assumed it would be the same for frwiki. If I made an error, I sincerely apologize. Regards, NW (Talk) 20:15, 22 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
No, the error was mine in not attributing authorship either in the edit summary; however, you removed the interwiki link to the English version of the article in your edit, which was what I did not understand. -- Александр Дмитрий (Alexandr Dmitri) 18:59, 23 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Global sysops

I read the proposal and I have nothing to add :) I hope that this proposal will pass. Give me a note when voting starts. --Millosh 06:07, 4 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Adminship

Hello NuclearWarfare,

Per the community consensus, I have promoted you to administrator. Congratulations! Please make sure you're aware of the relevant policy. Best, —Anonymous DissidentTalk 00:23, 18 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thanks Anonymous Dissident. I had one question for you, actually. Is Meta:Administrators#List of administrators still maintained? It seems to not have been edited in many months. If it isn't, it really ought to be removed. Regards, NW (Talk) 00:32, 18 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
*cough* ;) --Dferg 00:33, 18 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
Now I just feel embarrassed. Thanks Dferg, NW (Talk) 00:36, 18 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
I'd rather forgotten about it, to be honest. I find all lists like that kind of useless, given we have a perfectly functional special page. —Anonymous DissidentTalk 01:36, 18 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Question

Why have you blocked my account and IP address for no reason? 78.152.246.69 04:45, 29 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

What is your account name? NW (Talk) 06:09, 29 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Sadness

It's even worse than you thought... it's actually a "non-breaking hyphen", which doesn't count as a word-boundary and so won't let the signature break in half. :D Thanks for responding to the request. Happymelon 22:22, 30 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Oh no! What a travesty! And no problem :) NW (Talk) 00:52, 31 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Question

Is the invitation to vote on global sysops directed at me or is it a systemwide message, because although having been a member for a while, i'm not a regular editor. M.thoriyan 03:35, 7 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

If you have edited for more than three months and have more than 150 edits on any project, you are free to vote in the proposal. NW (Talk) 03:37, 7 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

help in ckb.wiki

Hi; Could you please help us to solve this problem; in summary: We have a lot of articles imported to CKB.Wiki but Special:Statistics only counts "new (not imported) and recently moved articles". We found this problem in "Aug 15 2009" and now it's "Jan 23 2010", so I think it's not problem of out-dating Special:Statistics.

Hmm, I'm not really good with the technical parts of Wikipedia. However, if you use IRC, you could try #wikimedia-techconnect. If not...posting on this page might be the way to go. NW (Talk) 20:12, 23 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
Thank you --Marmzok 23:30, 23 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the reconsideration ...

… and I don't know what I have specifically done to have you reconsider, and happy to be told so that I can keep at it. :-) billinghurst sDrewth 03:29, 25 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Well, I wasn't really sure at my vote after I looked back on it. I just realized that I couldn't really find anything bad about you to oppose for. You are not an exceptional steward candidate, but I see no reason why you would be a bad one. I wish you the best of luck :) NW (Talk) 03:50, 25 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
Bland, unobnoxious, and nofups. I can live with that <g & shrug> billinghurst sDrewth 05:16, 25 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Wawohh !

I could'nt think it was necessary to get 1 000 contributions for having access to the data of Toolserver/watcher ! I thought it was a joke ! :-))) I think I've about 250 and may be 150 in 2 or 3 months.

The thing is that the article I'm interesting is - for me - important. In France (I'm French) , "Gribeco" (= "salebot", a robot against vandalism at wikipedia, and who seems to be interested by this title (may be for personnal reasons), recently came and helped me in to the title : "Pierre Larrouturou").

You can see it in the historique.

Anyway, if it's not possible, it wouldn't be so grave.
