I'd like to help out on OTRS because I have experience dealing conflict, etc in the English Wikipedia. I was an administrator in the English Wikipedia since July 2006, and I am well-versed in policies there, especially dealing with sensitive subjects such as BLPs. I had some controversy in the past, but that was over two years ago. Thanks [[User:Secret|Secret]] 16:07, 16 December 2009 (UTC)

The Dutch Low Saxon Wikipedia, where I am a Bureaucrat, is getting ready to send out a press release on the occasion of having reached the 4,000-article mark and organising a writing competition aimed at attracting new contributors. If needed we will use a Gmail address, but Slomox of the (German) Low Saxon Wikipedia suggested that I - and perhaps other nds-nl regulars - join him in getting access rights to info-nds@wikimedia.org, so we may do the press release mailing from this more professional e-mail address. Discussion around this and the competition are ongoing (in Low Saxon) at http://nds-nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedie:Praotkefee . — The preceding unsigned comment was added by Ni'jluuseger (talk) 20:41, 10 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

I initiated info-nds@wikimedia.org and I am the only active user on the queue as of now. As already said by Ni'jluuseger, I suggested that info-nds@wikimedia.org can be used as a joint OTRS queue for nds-nl and nds(-de). It's the same language, but it got under the influence of two different national regimes who both tried to minoritize it and thus put their stamps on the language (resulting in different orthographies etc.). I support joint projects whenever feasible. And so I fully endorse Ni'jluuseger's request. We need more people on the queue. --::Slomox:: >< 12:04, 11 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
Comment: Definitely seems like this queue needs more people. No worries, Cirt (talk) 17:16, 11 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

I like to help with OTRS requests in the commons area. I am an active Wikipedia editor since 2007 and contribute under my SUL account Neozoon in the de, en and nl Wikipedia. I like to improve articles a lot. On Wikipedia commons I contribute with pictures that I take myself or scans or uploads of pictures from flickr. Next to that I am contributing on commons as "trusted user" at the "flickr review" process. Since I contact people regularly and ask them if they can contribute some fotos for specific wikipedia articles, I explain the OTRS flow quite often. I know this process quite well and want to contribute on the commons permissions area. I am a very patient and helpful guy with an IT-background. My very good language skills in three languages can be helpful for this task. --Neozoon 00:03, 15 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

On hold Will be processed by the German speaking support team. Raymond 13:38, 15 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

I would like to help out OTRS with processing their correspondence concerning the Low Saxon wikipedia, where I am a bureaucrat. I have already sent multiple e-mails on behalf of Wikipedia using my personal e-mail address, and I believe that it would leave a more professional impression if I continued to do so using the shared account. From these previous contacts I have also gathered a number of e-mail adresses of several (very) local news agents which may prove valuable for our Wikipedia in future publications, which I believe are not on your list of contacts yet. I have been an active user and contributor of the Low Saxon wikipedia since 2006 and consider myself sufficiently fluent in aforementioned languages. Woolters 22:18, 15 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

The same I said about Ni'jluuseger above applies to Woolters too. I fully endorse his request and I hope he can join the team soon. --::Slomox:: >< 02:11, 16 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

I am submitting myself as an OTRS candidate for the specific purpose of the Abuse Response project located on the English Wikipedia. The best information on Abuse Response can be found here. I am requesting only access to the existing "Abuse Reports" queue. Bsmithme 23:42, 18 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

I'd like to help out on OTRS because I would like to help people who speak Scots send permission requests to OTRS and because I am a trusted editor on commons where I never uploaded a copyvio and have nominated plenty of Copyvios for deletion . Gwynhaden 03:55, 24 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
