The movie begins in Manhattan, New York; where the Cheetah Girls are performing at a Graduation Party for the Manhattan Magnet's class of 2006, The Cheetah's who are just ending junior year (class of 2007). Chanel and her mother (Juanita) are planning to go to Barcelona, Spain tomeet Luke (Juanita's boyfriend), for a month of their summer break. The girls become excited about voyaging to Barcelona and suddenly see an ad for The Barcelona Music Festival, with the New Voices Competition for amateur singers. Galleria signs up the Cheetah Girls and the next day, Dorothea (Galleria's mom), Juanita, and the Cheetah Girls all end up Luke's European villa. The girls meet up with Count Joaquin, a handsome dancer who makes a relationship with Dorinda. The Count shows them around Barcelona, and takes them to the Dancing Cat, a Spanish night club where all the new artists perform their songs. There they meet Spanish pop artist Marisol, who is also in the Music Festival and her manager/mother, Lola. Lola plans a scheme to get the Cheetah Girls to break up, as they are endangering her daughter's chance to win the competition. All the girls except Galleria are getting involved in other activities, and Galleria decides to just go home, because she is the only focused person. While at a train station, the other three girls find her and sing the song she wrote. Galleria is angry because it seems like there is absolutely no time for rehearsal and Galleria says she will only come back if they stay focused. The girls work really hard, but then something goes wrong. In some way, Lola gets the Dancing Cat's manager to give the Cheetah Girls money for their performance. According to the competition rules, it's only for amateurs, which the Cheetahs are not, since they accepted the money. Angel, a Spanish musician who has seemingly been guarding over the Cheetahs, is present during the entire exchange investigates what actually happens. Upon discovering the truth, he informs his uncle, the Festival Director who reinstates the Cheetahs in the competition. As her mother protests this decision, Marisol stands up to her and quits the competition. The grand finale Amigas, Cheetahs ends the competition, and the movie as the Cheetahs sing out and call the principal musical, singing, and dancing performers to the stage. The winner of the competition is never revealed, but the audience is led to believe it is the Cheetahs, however most of the movie's ending sequence leaves plenty of room for another sequel.or does it??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

TV Series

Main Article:The Cheetah Girls TV Series

The Cheetah Girls TV series is a Disney Channel original show put on hiatus after four episodes, according to TRL in November of 2005. The show was put on hiatus after the contract for That's So Raven was renewed. Therefore, Raven would not have been able to be in the show. Now that That's So Raven is over, there is no news whether or not the show will start filming again. It is possible that Disney Channel is waiting to see how the ratings are for the August 25th release of The Cheetah Girls 2, to decide whether or not the show will be aired.
