Two players have hit grand slams in their first major league games; Bill Duggleby: 1898 and Bobby Bonds: 1968.
The first player to hit a home run in his first major league game was Joe Harrington in 1895 for the Boston Beateners(now the Atlanta Braves).
Paul Hines was the first man to hit for the triple crown, in 1878. He, along with Tip O'Neil, are the only players to win the triple crown and not be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
