The Botsis family controlled major stakes in the publishing industry of Greece during the 20th century. The Botsis owned and controlled Apogevmatini and Akropolis, both major national newspapers.

Members

Athanasios Botsis was an admirable enterpreneur and known Jet Setter with common destinations including Monte Carlo, Milan, London and Geneva. The Athanassios Vasiliou Botsis Foundation was founded after him.

Argyris Botsis was a known politician with positions including being the Nomarch of Attica.

Toula Levidis was one of the siblings of the family who was married to Levidis, major chamberlain of the Greek Palace.
