Reason for the nomination:
The original uploader has changed their mind about the liscense. My understanding is that, legally, individuals cannot claw back intellectual property rights they give away, or allow to lapse. We have, however, occasionally deleted images as a courtesy to the original photographer, when they offer a credible account of not fully understanding what rights they were releasing when they first liscenced the image. I changed the original photographer's speedy request to a full deletion discussion, to provide a single place where we can discuss the future of all their images.

Personally, I think we should decline these requests. Most of these images were uploaded over a year ago. None of the images I have looked at so far contain close-ups of individuals faces, who could complain their personality rights were at risk. The GFDL and other related liscenses have not been, to the best of my knowledge, fully tested in court. I am concerned that if we keep agreeing to delete properly liscensed images when contributors change their minds we erode the vlaue of these liscenses -- which would be a very bad thing.
