About a protection

Hi. In the last days I had a talk with User:Reisio because he has undone editions with our national flags. As he wrote: "Pretty soon all these flag images will be "protected" from editing, and we'll have to use new disambiguated file names regardless." (here) The following lines you can read here. I would like to ask you about this forecasted protection, what is the truth in these sentences?

Witaj, ja tu od robienia i wrzucania zdjęć jestem ale co chwilę mi boty krzyczą że czegoś nie skategoryzowałem. To chciałbym się owej trudnej sztuki wyuczyć. Chodzi mi o te dwa zdjęcia 1 i 2.Chcę np. stworzyć kategorię "Małgorzata Szapował" ale tak by stanowiła podkategorię rzeczy takich jak np. "Comedians from Poland". Dzięki wielkie, opis pozostanie na mej stronce i będę się mógł w razie czego odwoływać; szczególnie sprytny jest ten myk alfabetyczny z "DEFAULTSORT". Kategorię pani Małgosi stworzyłem praktycznie podług Twojego schematu (jeno zamieniłem "założycielkę" na "WSPÓŁ- z.") - nie ma co wykonywać tej samej pracy podwójnie. Ale i przed chwilą skategoryzowałem ten plik i pewnie nie ma się do czego doczepić ;)

Only two days to respond, it's much too little! And there was a reaction : the file's creator has given permission today to 18:43 by mail permissions-commons-fr@wikimedia.org. I received the copy. Deleted Hossa Pictures

Thank you for the prompt review and removal of the pictures, much appreciated. I emailed the author of these images before posting them, and he specifically agreed that they can be posted on Wikipedia. I'm not sure why you deleted these images, if an adjustment in licensing terms was required, the author would have done whatever is needed to comply with Wikimedia requirements. Instead of speedy deleting these images and thereby wasting my time and the time of other contributors, I think the right thing would have been to leave a comment on either my talk page or on the corresponding image talk page.

Both images disappeared without a trace and it required some digging on my end to find out what happened. This is not a good way to promote community contributions and is absolutely not acceptable. I would expect more from a sysop, even if he by his own admission "speaks little English". I expect an explanation from you.

Towards Unity image permission

and could use additional information please. The email that the image owner sent to Wikipedia includes the statement,

"I agree to publish that work under the free license Creative Commons Attribution-Sharealike 3.0 Unported License (CC-BY-SA version 3.0)."

I don't understand what additional information you need in the reply you say you are awaiting, could you explain a little further for us?

Właściwie nie wiem co się dzieje. Mimo Twojej podmiany na wersję bez ramki, inne projekty (polska Wikipedia) nadal wyświetlały archiwalną wersję z ramką. Początkowo myślałem, że to wina mojej przeglądarki i nieaktualizowanych przez nią plików tymczasowych, ale na innych przeglądarkach i innych komputerach nadal w artykule na polskiej Wiki pojawiała się wersja z ramką. Ściągnąłem na dysk Twoją wersję i próbowałem ten właśnie plik wrzucić ponownie jako nową wersję zdjęcia. Po wrzuceniu nadal pojawiała się wersja z ramką... Przed chwilą zrobiłem revert do twojej wersji i nagle zaczęło wszystko normalnie działać. Goku122 21:02, 7 January 2010 (UTC)

Hi Odder, you know how to deal with Poles - I dont. Can you explain User:Artur Andrzej what went wrong with him and that he is doing a very good work with the city images but that he did a very, very bad thing with the problems collected in Commons:Requests for checkuser/Case/Artur Andrzej? My goal is to keep him making good edits on Commons and to definite have him stopped doing this bad things. He may explain why he did this. Hi Odder, when you removed the cat:№ 1 from the file:Lena you gave no reason. So I can only guess. Of course, my categorization was of not much necessity; but in that category are more than 1000 of different number 1 images, and I thought the number 1 on the Tshirt would fit there (better than to Category:Harley-Davidson, or any of the categories for stars).

Odder, I am trying to upload a new version of File:Flag President of Brazil.svg, a file created by me, using the official Coat of arms of Brazil. However, user Fry is trying to impose a new color scheme, based on three photographies instead of the color scheme used at File:Flag of Brazil.svg. However, those pics cannot be considered a reliable source for colors to be used at vector files, seeing that even the colors of the national flag and of the national arms are different on those images. Jeszcze nie utworzone oznaczenia licencji

Witaj. Prosiłbym o pomoc przy utworzeniu nowej licencji PD-Southern Sudan , zdaje się że taka może istnieć. Napisałem ją w godle Sudanu Południowego ale ta grafika może być usunięta z powodu braku licencji. Wraz z nowym państwem powinna powstać nowa licencja, innej nie potrafię przypisać. Do usłyszenia. Chodzi o to że logo to jest używane przez wszystkich mariawitów bez względu na wyznanie! Znajdziesz go zarówno na stronie mariawitów płockich jak i felicjanowskich. Tak jak wcześniej wspomniałem jest to najprawdopodobniej skan haftu. A czy nie można wstawić tej grafiki jako sprzed 70 lat? Powstała gdzieś na przełomie XIX i XX wieku. Tak więc skontaktowałem się zarówno z KKM jak i KSM i żadna ze wspólnot nie rości sobie prawa do emblematu mariawickiego. Poprzez pytanie się znajomych doszedłem do tego kto zeskanował ów plik i podałem go jako autora obok mnie. Grafika ta znajduje się na Googlach jest więc plikiem publicznym? Co więc mam jeśli chce wstawić tą grafikę zrobić? Na jakich zasadach mogę więc wstawić tą grafikę. Dla mnie to niezwykle skomplikowane.

Kościół Katolicki Mariawitów nie posiada ani oficjalnego ni nieoficjalnego maila. Od kogo mam za to dostać maila z Kościoła Starokatolickiego Mariawitów i co ma zawierać?

Strasznie skomplikowane i wygórowane są Twoje żądania. Myślisz że władze Kościoła będą pisać druczki w celu możliwości publikowania loga Kościoła? Czy aby wstawić godło Watykanu czy symbol Kościoła Rzymskokatolickiego trzeba było pytać papieża albo jego kurialistów? wielce w to wątpie. W takim razie zrobiłem zdjęcie medalika który mam na szyi, a zdjęcie jest moją własnością. Chyba tego już nie usuniesz? Pozdrawiam i przepraszam za ten ton ale ta biurokracja mnie przeraża. Ludzie piszą na Wikipedii bo chcą dzielić się swoją wiedzą a jeszcze się im to utrudnia. Gdybym ewidentnie naruszał czyjeś prawa autorskie, przywłaszczył czyjeś zdjęcie bez pozwolenia to rozumiem. Miałem rację że nie usuniesz tego zdjęcia, bo użytkownik Masur już go usunął. Jeśli jednak tak bardzo przeszkadza wam emblemat mariawicki na commons to może wykasujcie też to: File:Detal1.jpg tu też znajduje się ów emblemat. Czy to zdjęcie też narusza prawa autorskie? Obie ilustracje zostały usunięte, mimo że wysłana została zgoda autorki na adres: permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). To jak narazie moja pierwsza i zapewne ostatnia przygoda z Wikimedia, w zawiłościach korytarzy tego zamku zupełnie się nie orientuję, chciałem jedynie zrobic przyjemnośc autorce, publikując notkę o niej i ilustrując ją dwiema reprodukcjami, z których jedna przedstawia jej wnuka, a druga pejzaż z rodzinnych okolic.

Moim zdaniem zgoda jest nieprawidłowa. Została przesłana z darmowej skrzynki pocztowej, której ktoś użył do wysłania maila i później nawet nie przeczytał mojej odpowiedzi. Konto pocztowe nazywa się zupełnie inaczej niż podpisany autor. Prawdopodobnie skrzynkę ktoś utworzył do wysłania tego jednego maila na OTRS. Strona użytkownika wgrywającego plik w momencie przesłania pliku nie istniała, dlatego założyłem, że ktoś usiłuje nieudolnie uwierzytelnić zrobione przez siebie zdjęcie, co jest zbędne jeśli zdjęcie wgrywa autor, dlatego też pominąłem tłumaczenie jak powinna wyglądać zgoda. Jeśli wejdziesz w historię zobaczysz, że wątek zamknąłem "closed unsuccessful". Sp5uhe (talk) 21:21, 20 April 2011 (UTC)
