A proofread transcription of this text, only about half complete (containing the Torah and Former Prophets), may be found at Internet Sacred Texts Archive (ISTA). This transcription project was completed after the death of John B. Hare (founder of ISTA) by the Open Siddur Project in partnership with the Jewish Publication Society.
A complete digital edition of the 1917 JPS in plaintext UTF-8 (unicode) is available with a Creative Commons Zero (CC0) Public Domain dedication may be found at the Open Siddur Project.
The 1917 JPS is also available as a PDF with its original formatting and layout, for free from the Jewish Publication Society.
