Hi!! I'm Adrian Pingstone, 81 years old, with two sons: John and Michael. I live near Bristol, in the south west of England.

I'm retired, after working at British Aerospace Filton for 36 years. My work included Concorde noise measurements (as an acoustics engineer), then studies of the effect of Concorde on the environment (as an assistant environmental scientist), and finally Airbus A320, A330 and A340 wing design (as a senior aerodynamicist).

My hobby is photography. I started contributing pictures to Wikipedia in January 2003. My cameras are a Canon S95 compact, a Panasonic FZ1000 bridge camera, and a Nikon D5300 DSLR (the latter used only for aircraft photos).
