Another possible sock
Not to be getting all paranoid, but the same day (12 July) as we block a bunch of other socks, in comes in a brand-new reg, User:TomPaul67 who makes one edit on a non-India page, and then dives right into Talk:Kurmi. Some suspect to that his immediate priority is to assert that he's read a lot of books about India, and questions how we could possibly doubt the Tyagi source (completely discredited and apparently largely an uncredited rip-off of WP circa 2007). It looks like yet another sock, possibly with the intent of either getting Sitush and myself to waste time endlessly repeating what we've typed a hundred times already, or of just casting doubt upon our decisions by claiming expertise to support this terrible "reference". Note too that a popular argument on Tallk:Kurmi has been "look at all the people who've shown up to complain", so I suspect there's some socking or puppeting of some form or another going on. Kashmiri Pandit

Done. An easy one. The contributor has one query & I'll sort that out with him - need a bit more info before I reinsert but, in any event, it was not one of the CV points. - Sitush (talk) 20:01, 7 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Edited rajiv Gandhi's educational qualifications..

i ahve included the neccessary citations and references, if u find any of it objectionable, or unquantifiable by any means please do inform me, before you revert the mentioned edits. expecting your co-operation for a neutral wikipedia. Thanks --Krishna Kumar 03:39, 8 July 2011 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ksquarekumar (talkcontribs)

Your edit was mostly acceptable -- the part about St. Stephens was not. You can not quote a Janata Party press release to state something when reliable sources state otherwise. The article needs to conform to WP:BLP. I have reverted that part, but the rest of your edit is intact. cheers. —SpacemanSpiff 08:54, 8 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Naadapriya

Looks like he is back to push his old pov in Hogenakkal falls. This was unprotected last month after pending changes trial was over. Time for semi protection again?--Sodabottle (talk) 08:51, 8 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A pie for you!

I'm amazed at how fast you deleted those articles and blocked that user. Great job. MJ94 (talk) 03:30, 10 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, I just have the range contributions page open, that's all. —SpacemanSpiff 03:37, 10 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

That was downright impressive.

If I get anything else like that, should I bounce it to you? I get a few a month that look like they have encyclopedic value but for the life of me I can't identify. Sadly, if no one on the IRC knows what they are they wind up at FfD.

Well, thanks for that. Sven Manguard Wha? 02:08, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. If there are Indian place (especially structures) related images I could help for the most part, this one I was lucky as the name of one of the shrines within the temple was written, it was just having to find out which temple in the region had that specific deity. cheers. —SpacemanSpiff 02:37, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, can you semi-protect the page. Looks like User:Sreekar akkineni is back. --Commander (Ping Me) 09:54, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think this is him, but the IP is blocked for continuously blanking the article. I'll monitor for further socking. —SpacemanSpiff 09:57, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thoughts welcome at User talk:Sitush#Kurmi kshtriya -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 18:51, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

That was quick :-) -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 18:55, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I was actually reading the article and the other one when your message came, so it was a clear cut case. cheers. —SpacemanSpiff 18:58, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Another possible sock
