This WikiProject focuses on improving articles related to the field of economics.
Goals
- The goal of this project is to provide a forum for discussion of economics articles and topics, and through discussion, provide guidelines for articles related to the field of economics.
- The vision of this project is to improve every economics article substantially so that every article reaches the level of quality of a Featured Article.
- The aspiration of this project is to make Wikipedia an authoritative guide to economics.
General policies
- Economics articles should present economic theories proportional to their weight in reliable sources.
- For verifiability in referencing content, academic and peer-reviewed publications are highly valued and usually the most reliable sources in areas where they are available. Electronic media, magazines, journals, and books published by respected publishing houses; and mainstream newspapers may also be used.
- Regarding validity, peripheral or parochial theories should not have their centrality to the discipline misrepresented. We should describe the majority views as such.
