Just to let you know I've added the db-hoax tag (as well as your prod) because I think that applies here, but ... I did laugh :) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gonzonoir (talkcontribs)

I emailed permissions yesterday regarding the image, which I took myself and edited in Photoshop. Other than that, I don't know what proof you are seeking? S. Gold.

Retrieved from "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Saphiragold"

Also, how would I be able to delete previous uploaded images that are not currenly in use?

Many thanks,

S. Gold

That's a very clear personal attack you've made by accusing me of "taking the piss", and violates the basic principle of assuming good faith. I'm considering making a Wikiquette alerts thread concerning this. Claritas § 19:32, 13 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Tariq Khan (Doctor)

Dear barking fish, Why is the page I created Dr.Tariq Khan again up for deletion when I have put external links already to the page? What seems to be the problem?

BBC England —Preceding unsigned comment added by BBC ENGLAND (talkcontribs) 01:44, 19 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

BBC England, the reason it is up for deletion is that the article I am viewing on Tariq Khan (Doctor) has absolutely no links in it at all, even in the last revision - it is a biography of a living person, and as such has to conform to very strict rules about what can and cannot be posted in it. It may be wise for you to see WP:BLP before you create a biography, and familiarise yourself with these rules before editing or creating the article again :) Regards, BarkingFish Talk to me | My contributions 01:49, 19 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion declined: Ciara Bravo (actor)

Hello BarkingFish, and thanks for your work patrolling new changes. I am just informing you that I declined the speedy deletion of Ciara Bravo (actor) - a page you tagged - because: The article makes a credible assertion of importance or significance, sufficient to pass A7. Please review the criteria for speedy deletion before tagging further pages. If you have any questions or problems, please let me know. decltype (talk) 02:35, 19 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Upon closer inspection, there was a recent deletion discussion for the subject of this article. Sorry for the message. The point about A7 still applies, though. Regards, decltype (talk) 02:37, 19 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the contact, completely unnecessary, but thanks anyway! I'm fully conversant with CSD & their usage, and at the time I tagged that article, decltype, it consisted of one line. And that didn't make much sense either :) I tagged it accordingly with A7 because at that point, there was no assertion in the article of the subject's significance, notability or importance in any way, shape or form! Thanks again! BarkingFish Talk to me | My contributions 10:10, 19 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Well, the "one-liner" did mention that she "stars on the hit TV show Big Time Rush" (emph. mine). That, along with sufficient coverage in RS or additional significant roles would make her pass the guideline for inclusion, and so would generally count as a credible claim of importance, enough to squeek past A7.
