Summary of Video games WikiProject open tasks:

Designer

I am Questron designer, Game theorists, I posted some comments about writing the game on the "discussion" page of Questron. I would love to read about the process of writing the "GAMES" from other authors. Gerald

I'm not sure what it is you're saying, but I recommend going to Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Video games and posting this there, no one reads this talk page, as the article page it belongs to is just a section of the main wikiproject page. --PresN 06:28, 22 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Idea

It might be a cool idea to add the article rating (Stub, Start, C, B, etc.) to this page. That way it would be easier to view the more developed new articles. The page would probably have to be converted to a table format (which might be tricky given the current numbering scheme) and could potentially also include the page importance (Low, Mid, High, Top). Well the vast majority of articles that are on this page are all Stub-class, Low-importance, so I'm not sure if listing everyone would be any good. Maybe just making some kind of indication for those that are not Stub/Low would be good, IMO. Maybe the symbols that represent them (, , , ). MrKIA11 (talk) 14:01, 15 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I think this is an awesome idea, but it might be hard on the technical side. These articles will probably change their class after a while, so it would have to be updated every once in a while. Blake (Talk·Edits) 22:04, 1 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I'll try and implement this this month. I'm hoping with the help of the Related Changes special page, it might be manageable to keep updated. MrKIA11 (talk) 22:16, 1 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
There you go. Any comments or suggestions? MrKIA11 (talk) 23:55, 5 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Question. Would you update their ratings they go up or down? GamerPro64 (talk) 00:13, 6 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Yes. MrKIA11 (talk) 12:38, 6 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Archiving aid

There may already be a program around does this job, but I wasn't aware of it. Anyhow, the idea is that you can copy and paste the text from this project page into the textbox and it will give you back an alphabetised list perfect to put into the archives. Do be aware that this hasn't been spuriously tested so may not work perfectly.

If you can get hold of all of the new article announcements for the last month, do put them through this little program and archive them - it'll take you no time at all!

Program is found at: www.gregarious.uni.cc/blofeld/vgn.php (random link to avoid blacklist, I'm afraid, as it's hosted on a free domain type placey.)

Enjoy! Greg Tyler (tc) 19:02, 30 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
