Olaf Olsen

Olaf Olsen (born August 8, 1976) is a Norwegian musician, since 1999 and currently the drummer of BigBang.[1][2][3][4]

Following the departure of original BigBang drummer Christer Engen in the summer of 1997 who was replaced by Martin Horntveth, previously of Jaga Jazzist, in turn replaced by Christian Syvertsen in January 1999 who promptly departed from the band in April of that year, and Olsen then became the band's fourth drummer.[2][4] With the exception of a period in 2000, Olsen has remained with the band since, and is, after BigBang front figure Øystein Greni, the member to have remained the longest with the band.[2]

Olsen currently resides in Los Angeles, California, along with the other members of the band.
