No it's 100% hand made ;). The numbers you find on your watchlist are the numbers or characters added or removed by the last version of the article. That way you can spot a huge change (eg. often vandalism). Normally, your contributions appear immediately in the article. There is no backlog of pending modifications. You can't remove a previous version of an article, but you can undo it by clicking the (undo) button in the history tab. I hope that helps!
