Plum TV is a lifestyle television channel launched in 2002 by Nantucket Nectars founder Tom Scott, along with producer Cary Woods and television executive Chris Glowacki. The programming is locally produced largely in affluent vacation communities, marketed towards residents and tourists alike. [1] Plum TV is carried by cable providers in Aspen, Nantucket, the Hamptons, Martha's Vineyard, Telluride, Sun Valley, Vail, and Miami Beach.[2]

Plum TV's tagline is The Best Things in Life are Plum.

Awards & Recognitions

In November 2008, Plum TV was nominated for Six Emmy Awards by National Academy of Television.[3]

In April 2009, Plum TV was named Finalist in the 2009 Knight Arts Challenge.[4]

In June 2010, Plum TV receives Emmy Award from Heartland Chapter of the National Television Academy.[5]

In August 2010, Plum TV was named to Lead411's New York City Hot 125.[6]

  • Beyond the Boardroom - An original network program on Plum TV featuring Jonathan Tisch (CEO of Loews Hotels and co-chairman the Loews Corporation) having candid conversations with America’s preeminent CEOs and business leaders. These candid conversations go beyond the usual business and talk shows, revealing the person behind the CEOs and showcasing the everyday decisions that shaped their lives and businesses. [7]
  • Film Insider - In a time of multiplying multiplexes, unknown indie releases, and long Netflix queues, host Tim Fornara curates the world of film for the discerning moviegoer. Each week, Film Insider recommends the smartest films, goes behind the scenes with upcoming moviemakers, and is your ticket to Plum’s many Film Festivals. Film Insider will also include special half-hour shows covering the best Film events and Festivals.
  • Keeping Up With Ramona - Hosted by Australian beauty, athlete, and hardcore adventure-lover, Ramona Bruland, each half-hour episode seeks thrills, meets the local pros, and gets a taste of the towns she visits and their adventure subcultures. Following each adventure, Ramona and her expert co-host enjoy winter-related local festivities such as sleigh rides and campfires, hot springs, sipping hot-toddies and a late night downhill skiing light parade.
  • Lessons from the Front Lines of Luxury - Shot on location in a select sampling of the nation’s top affluent markets, Aspen, Miami Beach, New York City, The Hamptons, Vail and Telluride, this documentary examines how the luxury goods and services industry has fought back from the recession and how consumers are responding.
