WP:PROD of fictional elements

Consider this formal notice that I preemptively object to each and every PROD nomination that you make 1) regarding a fictional element identified with a notable franchise, which 2) does not articulate a clear reason why deletion is a better result than merging or redirecting the page in question. WP:BEFORE, WP:ATD, and WP:PROD are all clear that merging or redirecting content is generally preferable to outright deletion. Since one of the key elements of PROD deletions is that they be uncontroversial, any future PRODs you might be tempted to place will be invalid--I've told you, in advance, that I object and why. Feel free to take any article you would have PRODed that fits these criteria straight to AfD, individually or en masse, but PROD is not simply a sneaky/easy way to delete content when others object to such deletion.
