Ireland West Airport Knock

I've corrected the lyrics to the version that appears on the offical Christy Moore web site as per http://www.christymoore.com/lyrics_tabs_detail.php?id=79 , and as you can see, that version does mention George Bush (probably referring to the senior one though). I see your comment on the edit history, might I draw your attention to the policy of no personal attacks. Calling someone "a mole of a human scumbag" is definitely not a very civil thing to say. Plus, as you can see from the above link, I changed the lyrics to match those from the offical web site. Do you have a source for the version you are putting in? I have found one link to the version you changed it to, so have listed that with a note underneath the current lyrics. As the current lyrics are those from the offical site, I believe that should be the primary listing, and not the other way around. I have maded note of the above on the article talk page, I suggest any further debate goes there. If you can find a source that shows the offical site's version is the variant and not the original, please do so, but please don't just change it as any disputed information need to be verifiable with a reliable source. PS I also think the "yankee" version sounds more like his style, but unless a source can be found, the other version will have to remains as the verifible primary version as per WP:V, despite whether you or I think it's wrong. WP:V (Offical Policy) is quite explicit on that: "The threshold for inclusion in Wikipedia is verifiability, not truth PPS I've added the standard welcome message above, which contains a lot of readin material regarding Wiki policys and guidelines. My sincerest apologies. I edited those lyrics several times and they were deleted each time. I only wrote that out of frustration and to get the attention of the person (you) that was doing it.

To clarify, the song lyrics that mention George Bush are from a live performance of the Knock Song (Live at the Point, 1994) and are made as a joke between Christy Moore and the audience. Furthermore, the Knock song was released on 3 albums and 2 of them have lyrics that do not mention George Bush or Gadaffi. The studio album is what I quoted and is the original version of the song. It is not what you have put online here. The song (with the original lyrics) appears on The Time Has Come (1983) and The Christy Moore Collection (1981-91) (1991). Obviously the first release of this song (1983) would have had little to do with a George Bush Presidency, as it was only 2 years after Regan was in office, and the 1994 performance at the point was Christy's way of "updating" the lyrics, while still making a political statement.

To quote Evan Carter from All Music Guide:

In 1997, persistent heart trouble prompted Christy Moore to announce his retirement from live performance. Two years later, he was able to return to the stage briefly before a recurrence of the illness forced him to cancel all scheduled appearances, acknowledging again that his days as a live performer were probably over. If so, the Irish folk world's considerable loss is mitigated slightly by the fact that Christy's masterful 1994 concert album Live at the Point remains as a testament to his extraordinary gift for entertaining audiences. Moore has always been the sort of artist who records albums in support of his live act, not the other way around. A lot of his songs are written with an audience in mind, as was the opening "Welcome to the Cabaret," heard here in a smoldering rendition that makes the 1990 studio recording seem tepid in contrast. It is one of many laugh-out-loud funny performances on the record. Among the others are the anti-drinking song "Delirium Tremens" (in which Moore bids "goodbye to the port and brandy, to the vodka and the stag"), the football fan ballad "Joxer Goes to Stuttgart," and the clever, political satire "The Knock Song," about an unlikely airport in small town Ireland ("Did NATO donate the dough me boys?"). These rollicking comic numbers are interspersed with passionate political anthems ("Go, Move, Shift" "Natives") and quiet traditional ballads ("Black is the Colour," "Cliffs of Dooneen"). There is an energy, a joie de vivre to this recording that is sometimes missing from Christy's studio albums. It captures one of the greatest talents in Irish folk at peak form -- something live audiences may never be able to see again.

I reverted your version of Image:Dudley.jpg, since you loaded it overtop of a pre-existing image. Also, the image you uploaded is copyrighted and not suitable for Wikipedia in the first place. I also removed the image from the Labrador Retriever article. Please see the Dudley Manlove article if you're curious how the original Image:Dudley.jpg was (and still is) being used.
