Ok. I will try to abide by WP:GAB suggestions. My block is wrong because I am not a sockpuppet. I have no alternate account. The block reason states that I am 'clearly not a new editor.' This is true. I have edited from IPs before. I have not edited from any other named account. I obviously can't give you hard evidence; you really just have to take my word for it. For what it's worth, I have edited with IP 96.19.148.63. I have always behaved in the past and I will continue to behave in the future. Thanks.

Decline reason:

This looks like a "bad hand" account to me. The edits made from this account have been mildly disruptive at ANI. But the clincher for me is Luk's revelation that the account lied about their IP, and is using a proxy. Being disruptive and being deceptive aren't the way to get unblocked. For a user who "occasionally" IP edits over the years, your very first edit on your "first and only account" shows an amazingly advanced grasp of WP and editors. Well, Doc, I only occasionally edit, but that doesn't really mean anything. I have been reading Wikipedia long enough to stumble upon policies, AN/I, AfD, etc. At the threat of sounding too experienced, may I invoke WP:AGF and WP:BITE here? Well, you are not 'biting' me, but the original block was certainly an assumption of bad faith. I was assumed to have been too knowledgeable and thus a sock. If that isn't a textbook example of bad faith then I don't know what is. And I am trying to appeal my block by answering questions posed by administrators. I provided my IP, I answered your question, and I'm trying to do it politely, but my patience is wearing thin. I will put my reasoning in the unblock template and hopefully my block will be reversed. Thanks for the clarification about the "biting". While I am not an administrator, I am very well-acquainted with certain aspects of WP. Your reasoning for unblocking is certainly better than it was before (though it should be noted that 96.19.148.63 has clearly never commented on the AN/I page, or anywhere near it). On which articles were your previous experiences with PCHS-NJROTC, I would be interested to know? Why are your edits and 96.19.148.63's so dissimilar? I'm not making the connection, either. That ip has made lots of small, useful edits- mostly rephrasings, single-sentence additions of facts, small corrections... it's been a useful editor on a small scale. But this account seems to exist solely to criticize administrators who, as far as I can see, never even had conflicts with the ip. It appears that the User:PhoenixPhan account was only created to participate in some dialogs with admins at ANI. It has no edits before March 1. There is no past editing record that is at stake.
